Suite à une discussion avec un groupe de jeunes oiselles dont les relations sentimentales souffrent de la mobilité des jeunes chercheurs, j’en suis venu à discuter de mes propres ruptures au moment de mon départ pour la France.

Incité légèrement, puis intrigué, j’ai joué de Google pour trouver trace de ma chérie grecque que j’ai laissé derrière moi. Et j’en suis ravi d’avoir encore le souvenir du clavier grec, malgré mes difficultés pour dactylographier en grec sur un AZERTY 😦

Effort largement récompensé de ce que j’ai trouvé sur le Net d’une part, après un premier échange de messages par ailleurs. Google rocks and so do the girl 😀

Maintenant j’ai envie de lire ses livres et je me félicite d’avoir chopé un dico grec il n’y a pas longtemps. C’est marrant, j’arrive à lire Platon encore, mais j’ai perdu large de mon grec moderne.

Some times it is preferable to get to the author of a did and discuss directly with him about possible problems. Generally this is my favorite method. Sometimes, the persons I’m addressing criticisms to, suddenly become deaf! And avoid to respond to direct questions.

While this set a public record of behavior, it isn’t efficient to clarify matters in an appropriate way. So, this time I chosen to take the hard way to do things. I’m not really confortable with it, but I would feel guilty if I haven’t act.

I’m not even sure of what the effects will be and for the moment the message while posted here  (so I have a dated record of it) will stay password protected for the happy few I’ll chose to give access to.  Depending of how it turns later, I’ll free the content or not.

That will be after a week of vacations. 😉
