It seems that a lot of people using their brand new iPad have problems with recovering pdfs. For academics this seem to be a huge drawback to the use of the iPad.
I’m an early adopter of Good Reader and the way it handles the download of the pdfs is quite convenient for me. But the fact is that you don’t need any third party app to download pdfs.
While surfing your favorite site and when you come across a pdf you would like to recover/download…
act I: double tap the screen, like tap-tap, decisively, with a resolute tempo
A menu bar will appear and at the right end you will see the options:
Maybe localized, say like "Open in iBooks"
act II: click on it! and you are done, the pdf will be downloaded and stored for use in iBooks.
Check the pdf tab of iBooks
and tap on whatever you want to read
And now, you may want to consider buying Good Reader, it’s much better :-)
