Richard Dawkins at Protest the Pope Rally in London Sept2010
Publié par Oldcola dans religion et société le septembre 19, 2010
Now, I have to find how to fold one of these papal hats.
There is another video poster at Richard Dawkins Net and the full text of the speech Ratzinger is an enemy of humanity.

Box 1. Cocultures identify synergistic growth
We selected 46 conditionally lethal metabolic mutants from the Keio collection and labeled them with plasmids expressing Venus or mCherry fluorescent protein. Strains were co-cultured in all pairwise combinations in minimal medium in which no strain could grow independently.

Salt-tolerant rice offers hope for global food supply
A team of scientists from the Australian Centre for Plant Functional Genomics, a key research partner of the Waite Research Institute at the University of Adelaide’s Waite Campus, has successfully used genetic modification (GM) to improve the salt tolerance of rice, offering hope for improved rice production around the world.
This new research into rice builds on previous work by ACPFG researchers into the salt tolerance of plants and was conducted in collaboration with scientists now based at the universities of Copenhagen, Cairo and Melbourne.

Larry Arnhart(?) being evil! (again?)
Publié par Oldcola dans Interesting stuff le septembre 5, 2010
Larry Arnhart seems to suffer comments deafness. That’s OK, a lot of bloggers are affected by the same condition.
All you can do is ask them one more time (and no more because otherwise you enter the troll mode and that’s not a good strategy). So, I did so. While checking if my comment went through moderation I saw something weird. My backlink from here to there (which drove a pity of 25 clicks) vanished in cyberspace! [and now reappeared, at least somebody thought it wasn't the right thing to do and that's nice, I appreciate - thank you] Playful! Vanished again…
Left a last comment:
Oh! and one more question.
Who is the blogger with administrator privileges in this blog who wiped out my backlink to this post?
Wasn’t expecting this kind of behavior here, reminds me of Gary Rosen of the Templeton Foundation.
Will you go along the same path as BQO[*] and “temporarily disable[d] [DC] comment feature while [you] refine [your] policies moving forward“?
At least you didn’t edited the comment. Oh! Wait! You can’t edit comments on Blogger.
And I will leave Arnhart alone bullshiting his readers as it please him. Fucking stupid behavior, evolved also, and he (or one of his co-bloggers) display it. And I wouldn’t call that moral.
